David Desiderio
  • Is a 1979 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a liberal arts background and a B.A. in Philosophy.
  • Received his J.D. from the Dickinson School of Law in 1982.
  • Upon graduation from law school clerked for the Honorable Frank J. Montemuro of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and has drafted over 40 opinions for that Court.
  • Was an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office for 19 years from 1983 to 2002 where he prosecuted thousands of cases of every type including hundreds of capital and non-capital homicides during his 7 years in the Homicide Unit.
  • Was nominated by Governor Bob Casey in 1994 to serve as a judge on the Court of Common Pleas.
  • Has been in private practice devoted only to Criminal Defense since 2002.
